Overview

In 2025, Pinzberg also celebrated its Kerwa on the second Sunday in September. As every year, residents and day-trippers from Franconian Switzerland and the Forchheim region gathered at the festival tent — the Kerwabaum, festival service, and Betzn austanzen marked the day.

The 2025 edition of the Pinzberg Kerwa once again confirmed the festival's firm place in the village festival calendar. Among the more than two dozen Kerwa held every summer and autumn around the Walberla, the Pinzberg Kerwa is one of the reliable September dates — precisely on the second Sunday, as tradition dictates.

Franconian Switzerland, with its rich tradition of Kerwa, small breweries, and hiking trails around mountains like the Walberla, the Neubürg, and the Lange Meile, remains one of Germany's most vibrant regions for folk traditions. Pinzberg is one of its small, charming examples.
