Overview
In 2025, Obertrubach celebrated its Kirchweih on the second weekend of August (August 8–11) – with the Kirchweihbaum, festive church service, celebration, and the traditional "Ausgetanzt" as living Franconian tradition.
The 2025 edition of the Kirchweih Obertrubach took place from August 8 to 11. As every year, the village youth fetched the Kirchweihbaum from the forest on Saturday and erected it.
The festive church service and celebration on Sunday, as well as the "Ausgetanzt" on Monday with the traditional bouquet custom, characterized the program – an authentic village festival in the Trubachtal valley of the Franconian Switzerland, supported by local associations.
