Edition 2025 — Kärwa Oberickelsheim

In 2025, Oberickelsheim also celebrated its traditional spring Kirchweih. As a Franconian Kärwa with a Kirchweihbaum, Franconian specialties, beer, and dance music, it was a convivial meeting place for the village community in the Neustadt a.d.Aisch-Bad Windsheim district.

The 2025 spring Kirchweih followed the vibrant Franconian Kärwa tradition of the region. For several days, the decorated Kirchweihbaum, the dancing out by the Kärwaboum and -madli, festival activities, as well as Franconian specialties and beer characterized the event.

Brass and dance music created a lively atmosphere. The Kärwa once again confirmed its importance as an early Kirchweih festival in the annual cycle of the pronounced Middle Franconia Kirchweih region.
