Overview

From August 29 to September 1, 2025, Nennslingen celebrated its traditional Kirchweih. The JMSV-Nennslingen organized five festival days with a parade on Thursday, festival tent operations in the sports hall, brass music and party bands, and a church service on Sunday — one of the largest village Kerwas in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district.

The 2025 Kerwa continued the long-standing tradition in Nennslingen. The parade on Thursday evening marched from the war memorial through the village, officially opening the Kerwa, after which celebrations lasted for five days in the sports hall.

As always, featuring Franconian cuisine from the club's kitchen, brass music during the Frühschoppen on Sunday, and party bands on the festival evenings. The proceeds went to support the work of the Jura-Modellsport-Verein Nennslingen — the unusual but proven organizer of the village's most important event.
