Overview

The Mühlhausen Kerwa 2025 took place at the beginning of September at the market square. Four festival days with beer tapping, carousels, a parade, and the traditional Monday market. As every year, the Kerwa marked the beginning of the Franconian carp season in the Aischgrund, and the first fried carp was ceremoniously served.

Kerwa 2025 at the Market Square

In September 2025, Mühlhausen celebrated its "fifth season" as every year — the traditional Kerwa. Beer tapping on Thursday, festival activities on the weekend, morning pint on Sunday, and flea market on Monday formed the usual festival schedule.

The first fried carp of the season was served in participating inns, an Aischgrund tradition that also makes the Mühlhausen Kerwa weekend a culinary highlight. The local clubs organized it as always, and free admission made the festival accessible to the entire region.
