Overview

The Kirchweih Motten 2025 was celebrated at the end of September, as centuries-old Franconian tradition dictates. For three days, the village was dedicated to festive church service, Frühschoppen, brass music, and communal celebration. The community's clubs provided catering and entertainment, turning the entire village into a stage for vibrant Rhön tradition.

As every year, the people of Motten celebrated their Kerwa at the end of September 2025. The local clubs jointly organized the festival, with the festive church service on Sunday morning at its center, followed by Frühschoppen, lunch, and convivial gatherings with Franconian specialties and draft beer.

The Kirchweih in Motten is part of the dense Kerwa calendar of the Bavarian Rhön and the Franconian Forest — each municipality celebrates its own patronal festival, creating a vibrant picture of traditions throughout the late summer.
