Overview
The Kirchweih Merkendorf 2025 took place on the first weekend of September, from August 30 to September 2. As usual, the Kirchweihbaum, amusement park, beer and wine tents, festive church service, concert, and Krammarkt characterized the festival in the Krautstadt.
Kirchweih 2025
From August 30 to September 2, 2025, Merkendorf celebrated its traditional Kirchweih on the first weekend of September. As early as Tuesday, the innkeepers offered dishes with the famous Merkendorf cabbage.
The amusement park was set up in the old town, along with beer and wine tents. On Sunday, a festive church service, a concert, and the Krammarkt took place, and the local history museum and the Bürgerstube were open. On Monday, the Kirchweih concluded with folk song singing and the finale in the inns.
