Overview
In 2025, the market town of Berolzheim once again invited visitors to its annual Kirchweih in the town center. The festival tent, carousels, and shooting galleries attracted visitors from the neighboring communities of Treuchtlingen, Pappenheim, and Heidenheim. The traditional Kirchweih church service marked the start of the festival Sunday morning.
The 2025 Kirchweih continued the Franconian traditions unchanged. As every year, the Kirwaleute erected the Kerwabaum (Kirwa tree) on Saturday evening. Sunday began with the church service and a festival procession. The swing boat, children's carousel, and candy stalls provided a folk festival atmosphere in the afternoon, and the festival tent filled up in the late afternoon, remaining well-attended until late into the evening. The traditional dancing down of the Kerwabaum concluded the Kirwa.
