Overview

The Lichtenau Kirchweih 2025 took place in July and followed the classic four-day schedule with beer tapping, parade of clubs, and family Sunday. As every year, the municipality of Lichtenau, together with local clubs, used the festival grounds for the traditional Middle Franconian folk festival.

Kirchweih 2025

The Lichtenau Kirchweih 2025 proceeded in its usual format: opening on Friday afternoon with beer tapping, main festival day with parade on Saturday, family program on Sunday, and festival conclusion on Monday. The local clubs shared setup and dismantling as well as catering; the festival tent was open on all festival days.

The traditional carousel, food stalls, and stage were available on the festival grounds. The Kerwa was organized as always by the municipality of Lichtenau in Middle Franconia, and free admission made the festival attractive to families from the entire region.
