Höttinger Kärwa 2025 — Review

As every year, residents of the village of 1,100 inhabitants and numerous guests from the surrounding area gathered in the festival tent for the Höttinger Kärwa 2025. The classic elements of a Middle Franconian Kirchweih were all present: beer tapping on Friday evening, raising of the Kärwabaum on Saturday by the Kärwabuam, festival service, and Betzentanz on Sunday.

The traditional Höttinger Kirchweihbär also made an appearance during the parade through the village — one of the local customs that is still alive in this form in only a few Middle Franconian villages. The festival grounds with the shooting gallery, swing boat, and children's carousel were well attended on all four days.
