Overview
The Kirchweih at Gasthaus Krone in Holzkirchen 2025 took place as usual in mid-October over four days. A classic Rieser village Kirchweih with opening on Friday, dance evenings, a festive church service on Sunday with Frühschoppen and lunch, and a closing event on Monday.
The 2025 edition followed the established choreography: opening at Gasthaus Krone with beer tapping, four days of catering with Rieser specialties, a festive church service on Sunday, and a communal closing event on Monday.
The Holzkirchen village community continues to uphold the inn Kirchweih model — a tradition alive in the Ries and in Bavarian Swabia, where the inn becomes the cultural center of the annual village celebration.
