Overview

The Großgeschaidt Kirchweih 2025 took place at the beginning of July, as it does every year. Four days of festival tent, dance evenings, Kärwa parade, and Krenfleischessen characterized the Middle Franconian village Kärwa under the direction of the Ortsburschen and -madla.

Review of Kärwa 2025

The Großgeschaidter Kärwa 2025 ran from July 4th to 7th and followed the classic Middle Franconian pattern: Kärwabaum erection, evening festival tent with a Franconian dance band on Saturday, Kärwa parade on Sunday with the Ortsburschen and -madla through the Heroldsberg district, and communal Krenfleischessen on Monday.

The Kärwa once again showed that even small Middle Franconian villages cherish their identity-forming festivals and consciously set themselves apart from the larger festival calendar of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region.
