Edition 2025 — Kerwa Großeibstadt
The Kirchweih Großeibstadt 2025 took place on the weekend of Totensonntag (November 22–23, 2025). Satirical Kirchweih sermon by the village youth on Saturday afternoon, wagon parade with girls and boys in traditional attire, brass band, Kirchweihball on Saturday evening, festive church service and Frühschoppen on Sunday.
Kerwa 2025
The 2025 edition followed the established format: satirical Kerwa sermon on Saturday, wagon parade, Kirchweihball, Schafkopf tradition on Monday afternoon. The youth of Großeibstadt kept the intergenerational tradition alive.
Intergenerational Custom
With its combination of Franconian and Thuringian customs and the prominent role of the village youth, the Großeibstadt Kerwa is one of the most distinctive late Kerwen in Lower Franconia.
