Overview

From October 24th to 28th, 2025, Gollhofen celebrated its traditional Kirchweih despite major construction work in the village. With festive church services in St. John's Church, a youth procession, inn music at Gasthaus zum Stern, a marksmen's parade, and citizens' shooting on Kerwadienstag, the Middle Franconian tradition was upheld.

The Kirchweih Gollhofen 2025 took place from October 24th to 28th — five days of celebration despite the ongoing infrastructure work in the village. The municipality had announced that the Kerwa would be celebrated as usual, and visitors were welcome to use the designated detours.

The festive church services in St. John's Church on Sunday and Monday formed the religious framework, and the youth procession with a church sermon on Sunday combined tradition and youth participation. The Gasthaus zum Stern, with its inn music and Schlachtschüssel meals, was the center of the secular celebration, while a carousel and folk festival area attracted visitors at Kettenbrunnen. Kerwadienstag brought the traditional conclusion with bell ringing, a marksmen's parade, and citizens' shooting.
