Edition 2023 — Kirchweih Gattenhofen
The last reliably documented edition of the Gattenhofen Kirchweih took place from September 22nd to 25th, 2023 – on the classic 4th September weekend. Four days of festival tent with Franconian brass music by the Blaskapelle Gattenhofen e.V., a festive church service on Sunday, and dance evenings in a tradition-conscious Middle Franconian district of Steinsfeld.
The Kirchweih Gattenhofen 2023 confirmed the fixed date on the fourth September weekend. As every year, the Blaskapelle Gattenhofen e.V. provided the musical accompaniment for all four days – from the opening evening on Friday to the conclusion on Monday.
Sunday, as always, the festive church service with the subsequent Frühschoppen was the highlight, followed by the grand dance evening. A typical Middle Franconian district Kirchweih, which manages without stage frills and cherishes the connection between the parish church, the inn, and the brass band.
