Overview

The Kirchweih Burgbernheim 2025 took place, as is traditional, in September 2025 as a multi-day Franconian Kerwa. Festive church services, the parade of the Royal Privileged Marksmen's Society, the Kerwa Youth, the Civic Marksmen, Franconian specialties, and live music characterized the festival over its ten-day duration.

Kerwa 2025

The 2025 edition continued the generational tradition: a multi-day festival with a religious opening, a marksmen's parade, and a convivial Kerwa atmosphere around the market square and festival grounds. The Burgbernheim Kerwa is one of the largest and longest Kirchweihen in the Neustadt an der Aisch–Bad Windsheim district.

Franconian Identity

With specialties such as Schäuferla, Kerwaküchla, and Franconian beer, as well as its particularly strong marksmen tradition, the Burgbernheim Kerwa is a flagship event of Middle Franconian Kerwa culture.
