Kirchweih Breitenbrunn (Assumption of Mary) — Edition 2025

Patron Saint's Day 2025

As every year, Breitenbrunn celebrated the Kirchweih on the patronage day of the parish church of the Assumption of Mary. On Friday evening, the young men erected the Kirchweih tree in the market square, followed by a social evening with catering by the associations.

The feast day itself began with High Mass and the traditional blessing of herbs, after which the associations in traditional costume marched to the market square. The Breitenbrunn brass band played for the morning pint, and the festival continued in the afternoon and evening with a convivial conclusion. The festival ended on Sunday evening after a final morning pint.
