Edition 2025 — Kärwa Aurachtal
The 2025 Kirchweih Aurachtal was celebrated in May, as every year — with a festival tent, brass band music, Kerwabaum, parade, and Franconian bratwurst. The focus of the Kärwa was in Münchaurach, where the Kerwasburschen and Kerwasmadla shaped the festival with the traditional raising of the Kerwabaum and the dance performance on Sunday. The festival tent was well-attended on all three days by residents and guests from Aurachtal and the Erlangen-Höchstadt region.
The 2025 Kärwa in Aurachtal once again followed the centuries-old Franconian Kirchweih tradition. As usual, the Kerwasburschen took charge of the organization: on Sunday, they raised the Kerwabaum, led the parade, and choreographed the dance performance in the festival tent. Brass bands and party bands played during the festival; Saturday evenings attracted a younger audience with a concert. Bratwurst, Schäuferla (pork shoulder roast), and Franconian beer completed the culinary offerings.
