Edition 2025 — Kirchplatzfest Langendreer
In 2025, the Kirchplatzfest in Bochum-Langendreer once again brought together the Catholic, Protestant, and free church communities of Bochum's East. The program included a service, stage performances, children's activities, food and drinks, and a raffle for social projects in the neighborhood. The organizer, Langendreer hat's e.V., continued its ecumenical and district-oriented concept.
The 2025 edition of the Kirchplatzfest followed the proven concept: ecumenical opening with an open-air service, followed by a stage program with local choirs and bands, play areas for children, grill and cake stands, and a raffle for good causes. The festival also serves as a meeting place between the three districts of Bochum's East — Laer, Werne, and Langendreer — and brings together volunteer actors from various communities and associations in a relaxed setting.
