The 40th edition of the Kirchlinder Woche in May 2025 marked an anniversary: four decades of a volunteer-supported district festival week in western Dortmund. With its proven program of the Peace Run, club activities, festival tent weekend, and the traditional Bed Race, IG Kirchlinde laid the groundwork for the 41st edition in 2026.
40 Years of Kirchlinder Woche 2025
The 2025 anniversary was celebrated with an extended festival week and a special program. The Bed Race, the festival tent weekend, and the Dortmund Peace Run were once again at the center of attention — IG Kirchlinde used the 40th anniversary as an opportunity to further develop the format and lead it into the next edition in 2026.
