Edition 2025 — Märzenmarkt Kirchheim
The Kirchheimer Märzenmarkt 2025 took place at the end of February / beginning of March 2025 on the Ziegelwasen and in the Kirchheim city center. Amusement park over four days with a showmen's service on Saturday, a market fair on the festival Monday, and a closing fireworks display on Monday evening. One of the first major Southern German spring festivals and a fixed date in the calendar for the Stuttgart-Esslingen region.
Proven Format as Season Opener
The 2025 edition of the Märzenmarkt followed the established format and, as every year, opened the Southern German Volksfest season. Showmen from the greater Stuttgart area, the Swabian Jura, and Lake Constance came with their rides and stalls to the Ziegelwasen.
The positive feedback and loyal regular visitors from the Esslingen district, the greater Stuttgart area, and the Swabian Jura have prompted the city of Kirchheim to continue the format in identical form in 2026 — with Break Dancer, Avenger Royal, and Crazy Cars as the main attractions.
