Overview
The Kirchfest St. Marien 2025 took place at the end of June at the St. Marien community centre in the border area of Gelsenkirchen-Horst / Essen-Karnap. Summer festival on Saturday with barbecue stations and drinks, open-air service and family programme on Sunday with tombola, waffles, and potato pancakes (Reibekuchen). Organiser: Förderverein St. Marien e.V.
In 2025, the parish festival once again brought together residents from both districts. The support association used the proceeds for pastoral care and the maintenance of the community centre.
