Edition 2025 — Kindsein in Holsterhausen
The 2025 edition of 'Kindsein in Holsterhausen' once again drew hundreds of families to the St. Mariä Empfängnis church square. A bouncy castle, glitter tattoos, a football activity by Rot-Weiss Essen, and a dozen hands-on stands characterized the afternoon.
In summer weather, the Holsterhausen church square filled with children, parents, and representatives of Essen's social and educational institutions on a Wednesday afternoon. The AWO Integration Agency, the Youth Welfare Office of the City of Essen, and the Netzwerk Holsterhausen coordinated the usual programme: four hours of free activities, many encounters, and the typical relaxed neighbourhood festival atmosphere.
Programme
Hands-on stands from neighbourhood stakeholders, bouncy castle, glitter tattoos, face painting, football activity with Rot-Weiss Essen. Counselling and information stands on family, integration, and education.
