The 2025 Kindervogelschießen in Nordermeldorf-Thalingburen once again brought together children and families from the community at the von Horsten farm. A competition in age groups, proclamation of the children's king and queen, and a joint festival program — the typical Dithmarschen village tradition in its classic format.
Kindervogelschießen 2025
The 2025 edition followed the proven format. Families from Nordermeldorf, Thalingburen, and neighboring communities gathered at the von Horsten farm for a day of competition, communal dining, and festival meadow atmosphere. The new children's royal couples were proclaimed in the afternoon.

Standard village festival program: Registration in the morning, competition in age groups, lunch, award ceremony with trophies and sashes, relaxed conclusion.
