Edition 2025 — Kinderschützenfest Heessen 1835
The 55th edition of the Heessen Kinderschützenfest took place in May 2025 in the Rose Garden of Heessen Castle. Assembly at Heessener Markt, parade to the castle, festival start in the afternoon with all classic program items (carousel, bouncy castle, laser shooting, play bus, face painting) and the traditional crowning of the children's royal couple in the late afternoon. Organized by the Schützenverein Heessen 1835 e.V.
In 2025, the club continued the long-standing tradition. As every year, several hundred children and their families participated in the festival — many parents and grandparents were once Children's King or Queen in the Rose Garden themselves.
Programme
Assembly at Heessener Markt, parade to the castle's Rose Garden, festival afternoon with carousel, bouncy castle, games, and children's raffle, crowning of the children's royal couple at the end of the festival.
