2025
Edition 2025 — Finished
Edition 2025 — kikife Schwäbisch Gmünd
At the 32nd kikife in March 2025, the Schwäbisch Gmünd festival organizers showed around 30 films at the Traumpalast and Brazilkino. The international competition featured six feature films from various European countries. A children's jury and an expert jury evaluated the entries based on different criteria. Slovenian director Klemen Dvornik received the Critics' Jury Prize for his film "Block 5". The closing gala with awards ceremony at the Traumpalast marked the highlight of the festival week, complemented by workshops for short film, animation, and screenwriting, as well as educational materials developed by students from the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Education. The festival once again confirmed its status as one of Germany's most important children's film festivals.
