The 2025 edition of KiLiFee once again brought children's and young adult authors to the libraries of the southern Ruhr area. 10 event days, 19 readings for around 800 visitors — free of charge and with high resonance from schools and families.

KiLiFee 2025 once again demonstrated the value of regional cultural collaborations: Ten event days, 19 readings, approximately 800 visitors in the libraries of Witten, Bochum, Hattingen, Ennepetal, Gevelsberg, Schwelm, Sprockhövel, Wetter/Ruhr, and at the Literaturhaus Dortmund. The festival connected libraries into a series of events that usually operate independently — a blueprint for regional cultural work. The positive feedback from schools, parents, and children directly secured funding for 2026.
