Edition 2025 — Kilian-Schützenfest

The 2025 edition of the Kilian-Schützenfest followed the proven four-day rhythm: festival ceremony on Friday, King shooting and King's ball on Saturday, grand parade and King proclamation on Sunday, and Family Day on Monday. The Kilian Marksmen's Guild of 1602 once again showed how vibrant Lower Rhine marksmen's tradition remains.

The Kingdom on the Mill Pond was once again the venue for a traditional Schützenfest in 2025, making the Kilian Marksmen's Guild, with its over 420 years of history, a fixed date in Schermbeck's summer calendar. The festival tent, parades, King shooting, and King's ball structured the proceedings. The high mass and grand parade on Sunday formed the ceremonial highlight.

Programme

Traditional four-day schedule: Friday festival ceremony, Saturday King's Day, Sunday high mass and parade, Monday Family Day.
