The 37th edition of the Kiel.Lauf took place on September 14, 2025 – again with the sold-out classic program of Bambini, youth, short, fun runs, and a half marathon, all on a circuit through Kiel's city center along the fjord.

The 37th Kiel.Lauf was held on the second Sunday in September 2025 and retained its proven format: six competition classes, start at Martensdamm, finish on Rathausplatz, with the half marathon completing the 10.4-kilometer circuit twice. As in previous years, the event was fully booked weeks in advance and brought together runners from Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and all of Northern Germany in the state capital.

Förde Sparkasse once again served as the title sponsor, and the City of Kiel supported with course security and traffic management in the city center.
