Overview

In 2025, the Waldwimmersbach Kerwe also took place at the festival grounds of the municipality of Lobbach in the Rhein-Neckar district. The local clubs — fire department, sports club, music club, and others — together with the municipality, catered to their village community with homemade specialties, regional beer, and live music. As every year, the Kerwe was one of the most important dates in the village calendar, bringing together families, guests from neighboring municipalities, and hikers from the Kleiner Odenwald.

Kerwe 2025 in Waldwimmersbach

In September 2025, as every year, the Kerwe took place in Waldwimmersbach — one of the traditional village festivals in the Kleiner Odenwald. The Waldwimmersbach festival grounds once again became the meeting point for the village community, neighbors from Mauer, Spechbach, and Lobenfeld, as well as hikers from the region.

The local clubs were responsible for catering, drinks, and the program — featuring homemade specialties, regional sausages from the grill, beer from regional breweries, and coffee and cake classics. Live music and a children's program rounded off the festival day. The Kerwe is a highlight in the Lobbach festival calendar, alongside the Lobenfeld monastery festival, and is one of the identity-forming events of the twin municipality.
