Overview

The Wiesenthau Kerwa 2025 took place, as is traditional, on the 4th weekend in September — from September 26 to 30. Five days of festival tent, tree setting up, brass music, and Betzenaustanzen in Franconian costume characterized the weekend on the community's Kerwasplatz (festival grounds). As every year, the organizers were the Wiesn'tharer Bamschubser, organized as an association since 2000.

The Wiesenthau Kerwa 2025 followed the proven script. On Friday, September 26, starting at 4:00 PM, the lads met in the Burschenheim for the traditional wreath and flag binding. On Saturday, the Kerwabaum was fetched from the forest and erected on the festival grounds with the Regnitzer Musikanten.

Sunday focused on the Kerwa church service and the Frühschoppen in the festival tent. The highlight was the Betzenaustanzen on Monday evening, where young men and women in Franconian costume danced around the Kerwabaum to the music of the Blaskapelle Wiesenthau/Schlaifhausen. The traditional Kerwabeerdigung on Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM marked the conclusion.
