Overview
The Kärwa Obermichelbach 2025 took place on the first weekend of July. The Kärwaburschen & Madli once again organized the traditional four-day Kirchweih — from the festival opening on Friday, through the maypole raising on Saturday, to the relaxed conclusion on Kerwa Monday.
The 2025 Kärwa in Obermichelbach kept Franconian tradition alive. The Kärwaburschen & Madli organized the festival themselves, ensuring that all important elements of custom — maypole raising, festival service, dance in costume — had their place.
As in previous years, visitors from neighboring towns and the Nuremberg-Fürth-Erlangen metropolitan region were present, alongside locals. The Middle Franconian costume was maintained, the dances were practiced, and the Kerwa spirit was kept alive.
