Overview
The Kreuzer Kerwa 2025 was celebrated as usual with the funfair at Zimmerplatz, cellar tours, election of the Kerwa Queen, and Franconian Kerwa specialties in the inns. The four-day Kirchweih confirmed its role as the central festival of the Upper Franconian stoneware town in the Bayreuth district.
The Kerwa in Creußen 2025 followed the established format: four festival days from Friday to Monday with a funfair, cellar tours, and a beauty pageant. The Franconian Kirchweih tradition was actively supported by Creußen's clubs and innkeepers.
The cellar tours through the historic rock cellars were particularly popular again in 2025 — this form of preserving tradition is a hallmark of Upper Franconian beer culture, which Creußen preserves in a particularly impressive way.
