Kempten Old Town Festival with Children's Day — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition adhered to the established concept: hands-on activities and a children's flea market in the car-free old town during the day, followed by an open-air concert in the evening. The Stadtjugendring Kempten — the umbrella organization of Kempten's youth associations — coordinated the distribution of activities across Rathausplatz, St.-Mang-Platz, and Marktstraße, as it does every year.

The concept has become well-established over the years: a deliberately low-threshold, cross-class family festival that connects associations, youth organizations, and the municipality — and clearly distinguishes Kempten from purely consumer-oriented city festivals in other Allgäu towns within the summer event calendar.
