Edition 2025 — Wiesenfest Kemnath
The 73rd Kemnather Wiesenfest took place from August 14 to 19, 2025, on the Röntgenstraße fairground. After a seven-day format in 2024, the festival returned to its traditional six-day schedule in 2025. Around 20 rides, a festival tent with live music, a Mallorca party with Julian Benz, and the grand finale fireworks on Tuesday evening characterized the festival week. Results: more visitors and increased beer consumption compared to 2024.
73rd Wiesenfest 2025
From August 14 to 19, 2025, the 73rd Kemnather Wiesenfest took place on the Röntgenstraße fairground. After a seven-day format the previous year, the Wiesenfest returned to its traditional six-day schedule (Thursday to Tuesday) in 2025. Around two dozen rides and stalls were set up on the fairground.
Highlights included the opening parade with the city band and saluting gunners, the beer tapping ceremony by the First Mayor, the sold-out Mallorca party with Julian Benz, and the grand finale fireworks on Tuesday evening. The Kemnath Monastery Brewery served the festival beer. The City of Kemnath reported significantly increased visitor numbers and higher beer consumption in 2025 compared to 2024.
