The Kemmerner Kirchweih 2025 followed its established format: four festival days with beer tapping, festival tent operation, festive church service, parade, and live music. As every year, the festival involved active participation from clubs, the parish community, and the Bamberg brewery scene.
The Kirchweih tradition of Upper Franconia thrives on the commitment of local clubs and hosts. In 2025, the municipality of Kemmern coordinated the festival together with local restaurateurs and the parish of Saint Peter and Paul. The festival tent was full on several evenings, and the Sunday parade attracted hundreds of spectators from surrounding villages.
The Bamberg Kirchweih landscape, with its over 100 annual Kirchweihen in the district, is a national curiosity – Kemmern is one of the many reliable dates in this dense festival calendar.
