The Katharinenmarkt 2025 ran for its usual four days on the third weekend of October. Opening with a lantern procession and barrel tapping, market fair in the old town, and festival tent with showmen on the Mauerwiese – a Steinau autumn classic.
The Katharinenmarkt 2025 continued the centuries-old tradition: four days of market, festival tent, and showmen in the historic old town and on the Mauerwiese, opened as always on Thursday evening with a lantern procession and barrel tapping.
