The 16th edition of Kasseler JazzFrühling took place in March 2025 with international acts in the classic venues Theaterstübchen, Schlachthof, Dock4, and Staatstheater. Organizer: Theaterstübchen Kassel. Several concert evenings spread over three weeks in March 2025 in the Kassel jazz venues Theaterstübchen, Schlachthof, Dock4, and Staatstheater. 'Open concept of jazz' as a curatorial line – fusion, soul, European avant-garde, song-oriented formats.

The 2025 festival once again showcased the 'open concept of jazz' as its curatorial line. With the success of the 16th edition, the team decided to program the festival as a month-long event for the first time in 2026.
