Overview

The Kasseler Musiktage 2025 were held under the motto «Woher klingt Musik?» (Where Does Music Resonate From?). Over eleven festival days, the Bridges Chamber Orchestra (opening), the Freiburger Barockorchester (Bach, Handel), the hr-Sinfonieorchester with Maxim Emelyanychev, Quatuor Diotima, and Apollon Musagète Quartett performed in Kassel's Kongress Palais, Staatstheater, and churches.

The 2025 edition was one of Northern Hesse's most prominent festivals, offering a diverse program: opening with the Bridges Chamber Orchestra, top-tier Baroque music with the Freiburger Barockorchester, romantic orchestral repertoire with the hr-Sinfonieorchester under Maxim Emelyanychev, and first-class chamber music with Quatuor Diotima and Apollon Musagète Quartett.
