Overview

The 19th Kassel Marathon 2025 again took place over three days with marathon, half marathon, relay, and walking disciplines. In December 2025, the event team organized a Medal Day for over 60 marathon runners whose medals arrived late.

In 2025, the Kassel Marathon followed the established three-day format. A logistical delay meant that over 60 marathon participants received their medals later. The event team subsequently organized a special Medal Day in December 2025 with a festive setting and small apology gifts – a remarkable service gesture that demonstrates the bond between the organizer and the running community.
