Overview
In 2025, the banks of the Herrenteich lake once again transformed into the festival mile of the Carp Town on the last weekend of August: fireworks, the carp stage, model boat regattas, and the pedal boat race for the Carp Cup. Thousands of visitors from Hamburg, Lübeck, and the Stormarn district made the Karpfenfest the summer highlight of Stormarn once again.
The 2025 edition followed the now-classic three-day format: opening on Friday with fireworks, water competitions on Saturday, and Family Day on Sunday. The Karpfenfest club alliance, comprising around 30 Reinfeld clubs, organized the program together with the city of Reinfeld.
Cover bands, schlager artists, and local bands performed on the Karpfenbühne. The Gourmet Tent on the Seepromenade offered regional dishes, while the Karpfenplatz featured classic fairground attractions.
