Edition 2025 — Karnevalskirmes

The 2025 Karnevalskirmes brought five days of carnival atmosphere to Dortmund's city centre. The Rose Monday parade on March 3, 2025, traditionally started from Eberstraße through the city centre — the highlight of a lively carnival week.

In 2025, the Karnevalskirmes Dortmund was also dedicated to the festive days. Rides, stalls, and a carnival atmosphere attracted families and revellers to the city centre. The traditional Rose Monday parade from Eberstraße formed the highlight, organised by the Festausschuss Dortmunder Karneval e.V.

Programme

Five carnival days with an opening on Weiberfastnacht, rides on Alter Markt and Reinoldikirchplatz, family entertainment on Saturday, and the Rose Monday parade to conclude.
