Karneval am Werseufer — The Grand Gala

The premiere of the 'Karneval am Werseufer' Gala was one of Westphalia's surprisingly successful carnival events in 2025. Nearly 1,000 seats in the Stadthalle Ahlen were sold out weeks before the date, and the program featuring national stars and local carnival societies struck a chord with the Münsterland audience.

Based on this success, the alliance of nine Ahlen carnival societies decided to repeat the format — with the medium-term goal of establishing 'Karneval am Werseufer' as a permanent fixture in the Westphalian carnival calendar.
