Karneval Alfter — Edition 2025

In 2025, Alfter's carnival tradition proved as vibrant as in previous years. Five parades across the four districts, spread over the last week of carnival until Shrove Tuesday. The Rhenish carnival diversity in the Vorgebirge — featuring floats, walking groups, marching bands, dance troupes, and equestrian groups — was celebrated by thousands of spectators from Alfter, Bonn, and the Rhein-Sieg district along the parade routes. The Shrove Tuesday Parade in Alfter-Ort was, as always, the season's highlight before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday.
