Edition 2025 — Karlsruhe Carnival Parade
The 91st Karlsruhe Carnival Parade 2025 took place on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 2:11 PM — as always starting at Festplatz and ending at Marktplatz. Around 70 groups with themed floats, dance troupes, and brass bands paraded through Karlsruhe's city center. The Baden carnival once again shaped the cityscape of the fan-shaped city.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition: around 70 groups with themed floats, dance troupes, brass bands, and walking groups paraded through Karlsruhe's city center on Shrove Tuesday. Route closures from late morning, parade start at 2:11 PM at Festplatz, ending at Marktplatz with a subsequent Kehraus.
Thousands of spectators lined the route, and Marktplatz was full long after the parade ended. The Baden mix of Rhenish and Swabian-Alemannic carnival elements once again characterized the cityscape. The family area and accessible viewing area at Marktplatz were well-received, as in previous years — a commitment to the inclusivity of major urban events.
