Overview
In 2025, the summer season of the Karl May Festival once again attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Kalkberg. As every year, a new Karl May production was staged with Alexander Klaws in the role of Winnetou. Over ten weeks, from late June to early September, performances were held on more than 70 dates.
The 2025 season once again confirmed the special status of the Karl May Festival in the German summer cultural calendar. The combination of a grand stage, rock scenery, stunt choreography, horses, and family entertainment ensured sold-out performances on many dates.
As always, the organiser was Kalkberg GmbH. The Karl May Festival forms a central pillar of Bad Segeberg's summer tourism and shapes the economy, gastronomy, and accommodation offerings of the entire region.
