Overview

The Kappelner Fischmarkt 2025 took place, as usual, on eight Sundays from March to October at Nordhafen. Every last Sunday of the month, the market ran from 9 AM to 5 PM, featuring freshly caught fish from the local cutter fleet, smoked goods from surrounding smokehouses, arts and crafts, and a Sunday opening in the town center of Kappeln.

The 2025 Season

In 2025, the Kappelner Fischmarkt once again proved to be a popular meeting point for locals and tourists on the Schlei. The eight dates from late March to late October attracted visitors from the entire Schleswig-Flensburg district, from Flensburg, Schleswig, and Kiel, and in the summer, numerous holidaymakers. The combination of maritime atmosphere, fresh fish, and arts and crafts made the market a fixed date in the event calendar of the Schlei region.

Programme

Market dates 2025: March 30, April 27, May 25, June 29, July 27, August 31, September 28, and October 26. Market hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM each day, with Sunday opening hours in the town center.
