Overview

The Kammermusikfest Hasselburg 2025 once again brought together three invited string quartets for a packed weekend of concerts in the manor house and thatched barn of Gut Hasselburg. Under the artistic direction of Prof. Heime Müller and with introductory talks, the festival combined great quartet literature with the intimate atmosphere of a baroque manor courtyard in Ostholstein.

2025 Edition

The 2025 festival adhered to the established format: opening concert on Thursday evening, a dense concert sequence on Friday and Saturday, “Bach am Morgen” as a calm opening to both festival days, and the concluding grand finale on Saturday evening. The thatched barn and the manor house of Gut Hasselburg once again provided the perfect setting for the string quartet repertoire — both acoustically and atmospherically.

In recent years, the festival has established itself as a key event for chamber music in Schleswig-Holstein, attracting listeners from Hamburg, Lübeck, Kiel, and Scandinavia.

Programme

Three days, five concerts, three invited string quartets with a thematic arc, introductions by Prof. Dr. Heinz von Loesch, the “Bach am Morgen” series, and a grand finale to conclude.

  • Three invited quartets under the direction of Prof. Heime Müller
