Overview

As is traditional, the Käthchen Christmas Market 2025 attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to Heilbronn's city centre from the end of November. 65 wooden stalls, an ice rink, an open-air winter cinema, and Advent singing enlivened the four city centre axes — one of Württemberg's largest and most atmospheric Christmas markets.

The Käthchen Christmas Market 2025 took place, as in previous years, from the end of November until just before Christmas. The 65 wooden stalls were spread across Marktplatz, Kiliansplatz, Fleiner Straße, and Sülmerstraße. Heilbronn Marketing remained the organiser.

The accompanying programme included, as usual, the weekday ice rink curling, the open-air winter cinema, and the joint Advent singing 'Heilbronn sings'. The traditional early market closing on December 4th, to commemorate the victims of the 1944 bombing raid, was also observed in 2025 — a solemn programme item that anchors the market in the city's collective memory.
