Edition 2025 — JSV Erwitte 300 Years
The 2025 Schützenfest of JSV Erwitte 1726 was the last standard Schützenfest before the grand 300th-anniversary celebration in 2026. As in previous years, it took place in early May with the classic program of parade, bird shooting, High Mass, and King's Ball over the May Day holidays.
2025 Retrospective — Last Standard Schützenfest Before the Anniversary
The 2025 Schützenfest of JSV Erwitte 1726 was held in early May, as in previous years. With a parade, bird shooting to determine the King and Queen for 2025/2026, a festive High Mass, and the King's Ball, the association continued its 299-year tradition. Preparations for the grand 300th-anniversary celebration in 2026 already shaped club life — the festival committee, the planning of the commemorative publication, and the program development were advanced throughout 2025.
The 2025 Schützenfest confirmed the vibrancy of club life and the association's readiness to celebrate its centuries-old tradition with a fittingly grand anniversary in 2026 — an event that will define the entire 2026 Erwitte marksmen's year.
